MSDP 2.0.7 resolves some major new bugs, making this an important update to get.

This new update addresses several large bugs pointed out to us by user Christian Attard. These are big problems, so it’s recommended that all MSDP users update to 2.0.7 to avoid the following issues:

In 2.0 through 2.0.6 there was a hidden issue that affected new projects, and resulted in them becoming empty projects after a while. Upon running the project a second time, everything would save appropriately, but this problem could cause users to lose all of their progress in a first session.

It was also pointed out to us that the ‘Save As…’ feature failed to create the ‘Saved Videos’ folder in the new project. This meant that videos could not be saved or imported into projects created with ‘Save As…’.

Finally, we found an issue where some pedal boards would be saved as blank boards, again on the first time a new project was started.

All of these bugs have been fixed and more in 2.0.7, so we strongly recommend this update for all users.

System Fixes
1. The saving error where new projects would not save properly, resulting in empty projects, has been resolved.
2. Projects saved with the ‘Save As…’ function now include the ability to save and import video files.
3. The saving error where some modules would end up blank when saving a new project has been resolved.
4. When using ‘Save As…’ the new title will be displayed on the project window.

Module Fixes
EZ Video File Player outputs 3 and 4 properly save and reload.
The following buttons can now be controlled with hardware controllers (this was previously broken):
1. Audio File Player - pause, loop, and lock.
2. Compressor - p10/11
3. Crash and Burn - p10
4. Crash Override - p9
5. Live Granulator - p4
6. Signal Delay - p10
7. VST Effect - p5
8. SAH - p13
9. VST Instrument - p5/7
10. MetaBox - p2/3

A huge thank you to Christian Attard for finding and reporting these issues, this patch will help everyone in the MSDP community.

If you see any problems with your projects, please let me know. I personally try to respond to every email and I dedicate myself to resolving issues that pop up. If you want to help test the platform out as it gets developed, let me know that too! It can be hard to find every potential project scenario, and we only have a couple of QA testers that volunteer time around their already full schedules.
